Tilly and the Wall - "Pot Kettle Black" (NEW!) & "Beat Control"
Check out the new video for "Pot Kettle Back" featured on Stereogum today!
stereogum.com

The Omaha five-piece is a potent combination of sing-song boy-girl vocals, acoustic guitars, keyboard accents and a tap dancer instead of a drummer. The band toyed with percussion by recording tap dances through a variety of different amplifiers and floors to give each song its own distinct rhythm. Loads of fun!

Label: Team Love
Record Release: 6/17/2008

The New Frontiers (live) - "Walking On Stones"

The New Frontiers is what you call compelling. In their new single “Walking On Stones”, TNF intertwine their simple melody with simple vocals to create a blissful sound. This progressive song starts off as an elegant, whimsical song and finishes boldly on a much harder note, but maintains a certain charm unique to them.

65daysofstatic – “Dance Party (Distant)”

65daysofstatic
Who knew you could throw a rager with so much static in the mix?! Once you turn on “Dance Parties (Distant)” by 65 Days of Static, you enter yourself into a straight up, as the title suggests, dance party. This music video is grimy, straight up dirty.

Label: Monotreme Records
Record Released: 4/29/2008

The Terrordactyls – “Decoration Daniel”

Bridges and Powerlines – “Uncalibrated”

The music video depicts our long lost favorite, the sock-puppet, rocking out to this German-pop-like song. Headed with heavy synthesizers, this upbeat song starts off on a fast beat and stays that way the entire length of the song. Their new album Ghost Types was just released, so be sure to check it out before everyone else!
