Silvergun & Spleen's new furry-licious music video, directed by ad creatives Jon Murray and Dan Strasser, leads to heavy petting and heavy, um, other stuff.

"What's up with that, you must be on crack" lead-singer Merv belts out as a crowd of furries* cheer on an alley cat and a bunny as they, well, we don't want to spoil it for you. Let's just say they start getting intimate, and from there the video escalates into an all-out sexy furry party.

The video is for Silvergun & Spleen's new single 'Crack' off their first album Semi-Truck. The Ottawa-based band released it through their own label and they continued the DIY approach to the video by scraping money together anywhere they could. They enlisted help from friends and family, like Merv and lead guitarist Vern's parents, who helped out by dressing up as a mouse and an alligator. "Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and put on an alligator costume and dance around to help your family," said their dad, Bertrand.

*FURRIES: people who derive pleasure from dressing up as animals and sometimes get frisky with each other.

"Black Hole" is the ghost track of the latest album of the Japanese musician Marter aka Masateru Yamauchi, Finding&Searching (JazzySport 2012). The video mixes a wide range of audiovisual techniques to give a very scientific and rigorous hypothesis on the origin of the universes. This music video is the result of a collaboration between the Italian filmmaker Maria Pia Fanigliulo, the Japanese musician Marter, the US animator Jeffrey Shroyer and the Bosnian painter Tarik Berber.
