Hi, I recently directed this music video and was looking for feedback. I've gotten great responses so far, although some find the subject matter a bit too much. This is the uncensored version, by the way.

Binky, didn't you notice the sexually suggestive dance moves and scintillating attire? What about the dizzying camera moves and religious iconography clearly shown in the background? What about all the brand recognition and coterminous bling? Himot, hide this one from the FCC!

With the girls and the cars, it looks as though you're trying to capture the feel of a typical bling-bling rap video without the money to do it. But unless you have the budget for it, you really can't compete with those videos on the basis of bling. Instead, you have to compete with them on the basis of creativity. There's nothing wrong with this video, but there's also nothing especially original about it.

Or, to put it another way, before you start shooting, you should be asking yourself, "What does my video going have that no other video has?" If you can't answer it, you aren't ready to start shooting.

Yeah What's Your Name is really strong. As for no dollar performance videos, I really like Gravy Train's "Ghost Boobs". It's been on this site before...

Richey Rocks' site and intentionally bad music is awful - whereas the Mazed guy is brilliant.
         
CAPTAIN: I think you're dead wrong. These guys look and sound exactly alike. Also, taking cues from the video - it looks like it was shot in or around florida, the same place this richey rocks guy is from.

okay - maybe you're right - still, it doesn't explain why he wouldn't have a link to this video. For a self proclaimed bad artist, he's sitting on the holy grail and doing nothing with it.
