Saosin — Voices (Director: Christopher Sims)

ok premise, i guess, pretty (albeit stereotyped) material; horrible edit, horrid track.
I actually really enjoyed the lighting in he performance footage (I had no interest in seeing these guys faces) I thought it was a great looking video. I agree that the edit isn't perfect but I think thats cause in good part do to the trend of over editing the hell out of videos in general. All in all I thought it was very approriate for the track...my problem is that this totally regurgitated music. And again I dont think the music is so bad but I liked Sunny Day Realestate like 10 yrs ago...this song sounds Identical to everything by 30 seconds to mars.
i think this video was beautifully shot, and works well with the lyrics of the track (if not a little too literal). i liked how we couldnt see the band very well, but by the end it grew a little frustrating. it would have been nice if when the photo umbrellas started popping off we could finally see the band for brief glimpses just to break it up a little. the speed of the edit didnt bother me, these kinds of bands you gotta cut the hell out of and shakey cam to give em energy.
that does it. mookie, you get the award for talking out of your ass.
better my ass than your mouth.
Watching this video was sort of like eating the same can of beans for five years straigiht.
refried, pinto, black, or baked? thats the real question.
