Michael Penn - "Try" (Dir: Paul Thomas Anderson)


PT Anderson's hypnotic one-take video for Michael Penn, featuring cameos by Philip Seymour Hoffman & Thomas Jane.

This was ripped from the NTSC Boogie Nights DVD, and I've left it as a .vob file. If you play it using VLC player, select track 2 in the audio track menu and you'll hear PT Anderson's commentary track.

I know someone on here was requesting this months ago, but I couldn't find it posted in any searches. This is my first video post too btw, so apologies for any errors guys.

Wow thanks so much. It was me who requested this back in fall. At the time I spent like an hour googling for it but couldn't find it anywhere (except on Google Video but it wouldn't play).
Johnnyzero you're my hero (sorry). Keep posting. E.g. Mike Watt's "Piss-Bottle Man" directed by Roman Coppola. Same fall plot.
Only two PTA videos left to go: Jon Brion's "Here We Go" and Fiona Apple's "Limp" (and possibly Aimee Mann's "Wise Up" though not sui generis hence yet sui generis). Missing less and less.

No problem kayser_sauze, glad to fulfill the original request! I'll certainly post some more stuff in the near future, afraid I haven't got the Roman Coppola vid you mention though.

I can upload a DVD quality version of the Aimee Mann "Save Me" vid though. I see you previously posted Quicktime and Windows Media versions.
