Sober Killer – "Step" – directed by Christoph Kuschnig

“Power and Equality” & “Always see everything, my brother” - the two quotations from the movie Ghost Dog set the tone of the first Sober killer video “Step”, from the album Allergic, released in December 2008 under the label Motor (Berlin).
Sam Vadaht, aka Sober killer, sees brute electronica as the heart and soul of his music.
He uses intense sound aesthetics, which always remains palpable and energetic.
Palpable and energetic - that’s how the New York based director Christoph Kuschnig translated the music into imagery.
The human fights stubbornly with an invisible force that strikes him down over and over again. He leaves temporary traces in the asphalt and finds the truth.

little excesses make this feel stuck in the nineties. (also: if you're going to have them talk, at least dub it right!)mva, March 5, 2008 10:57:53 PM CET
