Kaki King - Pull Me Out Alive (dir. D. Karr, E. Boyce)
"The video was made without film cameras -- it consists of over 5,000 still photographs shot on Nikon D30s. There are no special effects; all of the light trails were created by hand, with up to eight individual "light animators" flashing LEDs and flashlights on and off over a long (8 second) shot exposure."

Putting the aside the fact that we've seen this effect a couple times now, the shots where the light trails are integrated and used for story telling are pretty cool.-j

Kaki is a pretty brilliant musician. I was really bummed that I missed her at SXSW. Nice to see her prove that she can do another amazing track that doesn't rely on those virtuoso acoustic stylings that she's become known for.otc, March 21, 2008 3:38:46 AM CET
Yeah if I hadn't already seen the PIKAPIKA clip and the Willowz video and the Sprint media blitz that rips off the Willowz video then this would of knocked me on my ass. But as it is it's just pretty nice.
