1979 short pioneering rotoscope (producer Lyon Lamb got an Oscar the same year for the technology), based on a Tom Waits performance. Was OK'd by Waits, but ("due to a series of unfortunate events") never officially released. Shame, as it's a gem.

that is REAL REAL NICE. love the way he sways... closest i've seen to something actually capturing the style/humour/subtlety of listening to waits.i've always thought it's weird how he doesn't have decent videos - anyone seen others for him that are even worth watching? most just seem really weak... which is particularly odd as they're all such cinematic beautiful songs?
