Madonna ft Timberlake & Timbaland - 4 minutes (dir. Jonas & Francois)
Worth watching only for the heroic beauty pass on Madonna, even puts "Clumsy" in the shade.
Also, is it just me or does Timbaland say "grandma" just before Madonna reappears at 1.28?
Still can't find a mov (don't cry for the emm ooh vee, progosk) but here's a slightly higher res version

is that Jonas Akerland?some of the dancing parts are cheesy but overall.... it's pretty awesome? I mean, for a Madonna or Justin Timberlake or Timbaland video.... it's a really great big budget pop video. That bisection shit is slick.

Love the dust pumping off the speaker at the beginning (ah the small things). The prism wall was put to great use.najork, 4. April 2008, 07:09
That devouring polygon blob is pretty unnerving [good], as is the bloodless gore. They don't linger on it in typical effects shot fashion, which extends the 'what the hell is that' reaction.scooper, 4. April 2008, 08:40
4 minutes of my life i won't be getting back....*sigh*spit, 4. April 2008, 09:31
The polygon wall is scary in a 2001 monolith kind of way. Really cool video, and that beat is ridiculous.progosk, 4. April 2008, 09:50
blinded by pixelblox! j&f(?) - fight for your rights! (and the u2b entry has the gall to say "hq"!!) i want my emm oh vee.msm, 4. April 2008, 13:04
no, no, no - this sucks. high budget us-hip-hop promos? thank god for limited budgets in europe, otherwise we would produce the same uninspired trash like these northamericans. same trash like this or thatalexdecampi, 4. April 2008, 13:48
director credit fixed - thanks!Yeah, I, um... sure, it's slick, but I just can't like this video.

The yoga-dancing around 3:20 is pretty awkward.Madge dancing like any random drunk girl in my local bar. had to look away for a sec.
good soul department, 4. April 2008, 20:28
I just don't see the relevance of sports cars, anatomical bisections, prisms and corsets... to one another... or to the song.I can't believe Madge is 51, tho! Her body is bangin'.
mookie, 4. April 2008, 21:42
random doesnt equal cool. just boring. looks like the fx were an afterthought.loz, 5. April 2008, 19:13
eh? pooyube removed? gi'us a qt anyone, i'd like to look at some blinging randomness...captainhairy, 5. April 2008, 19:50
agree with good soul.some cool moments, but its all really random.
its way too cutty too.
And how do you put Justin Timberlake and Madonna in the same video, and not show a good dance routine? they're both such great dancers.
serch, 5. April 2008, 19:59
the prism thing reminds me of this www.bbc.co.uk
spreech, 5. April 2008, 20:47
this video is from another era of popmusic. the song is much more timberlake / timbaland then madonna. maybe it is the first time for madonna that she is too late.matei-alexandru mocanu, 6. April 2008, 10:52
@serchglad you mentioned fenwick, he's one of my favorite directors.
you mean the earth waves? on some - remote - level they do. on the other hand, have you noticed that both artificial worlds 3.0 and walter stern's angel for MA share the same narrative patterns (= a pretentious way to say they both feature people being chased after till they decide to fight back) not that theres something wrong with that - i enjoy them about the same.
serch, 6. April 2008, 15:29
yes, fenwick is a great director. and in these videos both directors seem to represent the end of the world the same way, like the chaos chasing people, eating them. hadn't seen walter stern's one since today and agree with you. great videos with not as lack of originality as madonna's one. sorry for my english.
