do you think in 20 years people will be making retro 00's videos that look like this, the same way that directors now are making cheesy 80s videos (like Sensual Seduction)?Cause this feels so like every band's generic video option.
I do like the song, and the energy, and for what it is, it's pretty entertaining to watch. But green screens and motion graphics are just less impressive every passing day.

Nice, I had to laugh at that. The worst part is that is one of the best indie rock singles of the year and the video does nothing with it. *sigh*owen gieni, April 8, 2008 12:23:18 AM CEST
That song is gonna be a hit. It's like the Cure mashed with I don't know, Tokyo Police Club or something? The video is pure pop, which is sort of the point I guess. Clever observation Captainmarc. Funny and true.familiar, April 8, 2008 2:03:08 AM CEST
Gah. This song. Over-hyped. Overrated.janeb., April 8, 2008 4:45:54 PM CEST

I hate motion graphic videos. Especially when everything feels a big pile of AfterEffects-layers shuffled around with no real visual concept whatsoever.Look at justice - dance - that's one of the few motion graphics-based videos that really make sense.

Oh come on, motion/green screen videos are just like stop motion, puppets, etc. It's a technique that can be used lazily or to great effect. Here it seems a bit slapdash, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water...videos.antville.org
