Guillemots, "Falling Out of Reach" (dir Arni & Kinski)
teh lovely:

or MOV.

And yes, that's Ian McKellen.

(note: moved the Aniboom/Radiohead stuff to its own post, as per framescourier's wise advice)

Notwithstanding the fact that Sir Ian McKellen's very presence has galvanised mvs for twenty years, this is a bit of a muddle. It's as if the coherence has been jump-cut from the narrative.

i like this one
www.aniboom.com by 16tracks jaiserwinter
unfortunately i forgot my aniboom user name & and i cant vote for him

le: now i've read the whole story. its a conundrum: on the one hand, i hold nothing against re-edits - in a way, its a new project were talking; on the other hand, if radiohead were looking for something brand new, then this doesnt qualify.

one more thing, regarding our film vs hdv discussion: see what properly used hdv can look like?

alex, you don't fancy setting up a separate post/thread for the Radiohead/Aniboom business do you? Could get a little confusing/sidetracked here...

good idea, shall do. Wasn't sure how many people would be interested/care

@legion - yes, properly used hdv with film lenses. I think we're actually talking on the same side here... I have no innate problem against HDV, it's just that young filmmakers shouldn't be deceived into thinking they can get a Z1 and do something that looks like 16tracks.

And I just tend to use film because 1) I can; and 2) I like the smell of emulsion.
