common's gone downhill since his first album as "common" not "common sense." and now he's putting out this drivel.

this coming from someone who's paid to see him live more than once.

I know he was a storyboard artist for a few years. Namely for Hype.
         
This is surprisingly eighties. Could have been cool, ends up being a bit MC Hammer.
         
That was awesome. And I'll bet the furniture in my mom's basement that if this was a JUSTICE video or some such we'd all be raving about it.

C'mon, it fits the track, it's fun to watch, and it's pretty darn creative.

I'm not sure, the animation feels too slight and the whole thing seems a bit uncomfortable. Common looks like he doesn't know what do.
         
Budget - took the words right out of my mouth. That is exactly what it looks like.
         
The direction is slight, with the relationship to the drawings kinda forced instead of organic. I'm not crazy about little X. Despite the misgivings it was fun to watch and creatively made.

how can anyone not love the bit where Pharrell walks in! that alone makes this video great
         
Actually pretty nice although some 3D perspective & shading would of been a good thing. Bonus points for the Pharrell thing.
