it was amusing at first but the video doesn't go anywhere. also thought it was poor pick for the first track off an amazing album.
         


international viewers might want to see the video on YouTube (but with poor audio quality)…
         
I'd love to have a look at the treatment for this.

Not quite sure how I feel about the video. I'm sure seeing it on a TV screen would help.
         
I think they were very influenced by encyclopedia pictura's aesthetic
but they wanted to do a few short cuts
so they could get in done in a few weeks

Great old Clip. But after "Donny Darko" so many Clip Directors used "Animal Heads" randomly and with no sense at all. Just to make the Clip look cool.
         
True! But I think it was more the influence of Marcel Dzama and the Royal Art Lodge that led to it. Canada represent! :D

ok...now i love tvotr, and never really do any form of crtique, good or bad, on here....but i just dont get it...someone explain to me what's going on...anbody can do anything and its just great? I actually kinda enjoyed it for the first half...then i thought to myself, "If this was Hype williams, everyone would be bashing it"
         
Yeah, I think this is nice and all, but it seems like if the band has a good enuff reputation among antvillers, they can get away with anything and it's "amazing". This video easily could have been for some emo/screamo or metal band and no one would have given a crap.
