Bob Evans - Don't You Think It's Time (dir. Michael Spiccia)


Came across this one from Australia. Seems a little old but one of the better efforts to come out of Oz. Nicely crafted.
         
Seems boringly yuppified, like a phone or electricity ad trying to reach the younger generation but missing the mark by 15 years. Definitely from australia, pity it's not from Oz.
         
I really liked the way the background painting was evolving throughout the various stages of the song and its thought on composition in relation to all the live action elements unfolding in the foreground. On repeated viewings I continued to discover its beauty in the many many layers that piece this canvas together.
         
vedgal, oh yes the thought on composition, comparitively to the peaks and troughs, ebbs and flows of the song and in genius relation to the ever evolving live action foreground elements... the many many layers of beauty... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

It is like... how I say? like a lasagne of much beauty and moisture.

I see one layer. A dying breed of TVC directors trying to freshen up their street cred by doing a music video every once and a while.
