Well, not to be too much of a cock about it, but if you want some feedback, I didn't really want to comment about this video before because of how you described your own clip as "Epic". Just can't identify with that kind of self-promotion, myself. It was a bit of a turn-off from the get go. buuut, moving on past that, your video looks great. The balloon thing was quite cool, but (and not that you would change anything anyway), it could have used less performance and more balloon stuff, I think. You have an interesting thing going on there, especially when he throws up the balloon (is that what was going on there? It reminded me of a few scenes from David Gordon Green's "Undertow") and a little more of odd shit like that would have weighed in so much more than a few of those Performance shots. Not that they didn't look great, mind you.

really beautiful looking. personally, would've prefered if just straight narrative, but probably not an option! but bit less of that performance wide, maybe break the spell less?also not to be a dick, but if you've got to tell people it's post-apocalyptic... then it's not quite working. but yeah, nicely shot, cool idea, well made.

haha! thanks guys.I called it epic cause it's the first clip I've done with any real sense of scenic distance.
I tossed up the straight narrative option but felt it to be too self indulgent for a music video..espec a first clip for a band.
It was an option though as I had complete creative control with this one but liked the wide.
The story line cuts in and out with CU's and it just felt right in the edit to pull back out to this vast expanse. Plus these guys are primarily a live project and felt it important to convey that in some sense.
As for the post-appocalyptic tag, well I though it might get a few more people to take the time to actually click the video. I know myself I'm pretty picky with what I can and can't be bothered watching.
