First: Music sucks.Second: Video sucks, too. Cause: Weird story. (today it seems to be hip to have a weird story) And than this thing with this fucking "logo". As a Kid it was cool to have a logo of one band. But today... c'mon. Prodigy was a got hype in 1996/97. one, two great hits. But they sell more albums in 1997 than any other band. I didn't know that. Just because "firestarte" and "breathe". After these two hits prodigy gets fucking boring.
They sound so monotone. beat and simple melody.... stupid lyrics "invaders must die"...
A bit like Scooter - Move your ass

or... wait... more like Apollo 440:

Quick history lesson: The Prodigy "got boring" well before 1996. Their first hit was "Charly", and it was released in 1990 or so. They had a string of follow-ups (including "Out Of Space"), all of which put them at the fore-front of the UK rave scene. "Firestarter" and "Breathe" were trite, and everything they have done subsequently has fallen flat, in terms of having something unique to offer. So -- by the time you might have discovered them in 1996 they were already producing crap.

that true. anyway... enough time (more than 12 years) to make "one" good record. imo they should "kill" the prodigy and learn some new instuments... than using the same electro. hardware and sound over and over again.my name is legion, 30. November 2008, 00:15

How come nobody mentions music for the jilted generation? It's one of the best albums and really a quantum lap for electronic music and videos as well.. No good and poison are simply massive tunes...Their life shows are still wicked as well! I am really looking forward to the new album. Anyway: The new video sucks. A Maxim look a like walking through some rotten place? That's not cool. Anyway it seems that they had quite a budget, shots from Helicopters and stuff.

none of you understand the prodigy , you all suck , the prodigy have always been great what video say is :
we are the prodigy , nothing else defines us , we don't belong to anything , we are our own masters
we walk through the badlands while oblivious to it , all we see and hear is the prodigy and that is all we need
the ant logo has great effect , it is like a call to arms ..

“we are the prodigy, nothing else defines us, we don't belong to anything, we are our own masters”Like listening to a zombie give you a quick rundown of its favorite bands as it lumbers ceaselessly towards you.
Yeah and Jousteece define a generation of angry radical youth ready to rise and smash the state.

i felt a pretty strong justice vibe on this too -- i didn't see a brief for this track but i will bet you dollars to donuts they were asking for something "like stress"I have seen at least two briefs in the past few months calling for that deal.

About as effective a call to arms as watching Waterworld.loz, 2. December 2008, 15:39
well, i like it. but have always been a sucker for jumpy rough cutting style. none of the pretention of justice, and no, it's not a call to arms, it's a MUSIC VIDEO.the track is classic prodigy - never were any more than a good sample and lots of loud squelchy bass, and what's wrong with that? get some class a's down ya, shirt off, in a field, sorted.
i quite like waterworld, in a sick way.
