Jay-Z feat Beanie Siegal and the wack rapper i refuse to acknowledge- More Money, More Cash, More Hoes (Dir: Malik Hassan Sayeed)
I know the title of the song is so anti-antville, but my question is just the look of the video. Is their a way I can acheive this in post digitally rather than chemically?

During the time this video was made shooting on reversal stock and cross processing is what you did to get a "gritty" look, which is what most wanted. Knowing it was Sayeed im sure there was some other chemical fucking to get a unique look. And the transfer has a lot to do with it as well. And to answer your question, most decent telecine artists can "Simulate" this kind of look now.c-dub, December 9, 2008 10:55:30 PM CET

... reckon it's got more to do with what you shoot on and how you light than chemicals: If you're on film & light well, yeah you can do this in the TK, or pretty damn close without having to cross process / print. If you're shooting on digital, don't try an make it look like film! (but that's just the old-school me talking).
