Great fun. Weird, unexpected and fetish-tastic.

The opening was the sloooow and boring kind of self-indulgent, but after that it went crazy in a very good way. Love the 80s glam rock guys(?) licking her shoes.

Were the old-time credits and the house a Citizen Kane reference?
         
@mva: *sigh*, I first saw the video on Perez's blog and then searched youtube, dailymotion, prod co. sites, and finally did a google search. apparently my google-fu isn't strong but if your implication is that i'm some spammer for perez then i resent that. i thought antvillians would want to see this video and so i posted it. anyhow, 30f had a more 'benign' link and so i've used it (thanks 30f).

P.S. - I just did a bit more research and discovered that the person who put up the vimeo version of Paparazzi is also a blogger. So, mva, I feel as if I'm supposed to ask, is it okay if my link goes to vimeo if the video's poster is a blogger? Any netiquette tips or righteous indignation in this instance?
         
So far, this and Khan's Katy Perry video are the most compelling of the year.

Gaga makes a strong argument in favor of mega-huge pop videos. Her song is a really great slice of pop, but this video is what's going to solidify her A-list status.

I've been waiting for this, as i think its a perfect pairing and it was worth the wait in my opinion. This video definitely referenced Melanie Pullens "High Fashion Crime Scenes" which I see no problem in other than that i've been waiting for the right track to do the same :-(.
Overall loved it.
         
i think it's a very well made glossy pop promo. glitter and litter are just one letter apart, indeed.
also i like the fact that at 3:38 she doesn't seem to be wearing any underwear.
         
Lady Gaga would sell her grandmother to get into the charts.

OK, finally saw it on Kanye's blog. Er... wow. The few entertaining bits of it (the fashion murders) drowned in rather a tide of self indulgence. I was bored by the time we got to the song.

(Also, in my opinion, not one of GaGa's strongest songs, so can't hold up that much extra weight.)
