i like this a lot, and i don't normally love performance videos. this looks great and she is a totally amazing singer + performer

I had a lot of problems with the edit - the slightly dodgy greenscreen and total grade mismatch for all of the stuff with Beth in the gold costume, and just the cut in general.

It's a good simple concept with good ideas and if it had been executed just a little bit more sharply (more slick/glossy edit, a few more interesting/striking camera angles) it would have been one of my recent faves.
         
I agree the cut was generic. Like someone just threw all the shots in a blender and spat it out. However I don't think altering the edit would make this video any better. There may be some pretty shots but thats about all. It doesn't go anywhere or add anything to the song. I for one am completely bored by videos like this.

@alex: i dont know about the edit, but i think its better than the way you chopped your amanda palmer vid, alex. do yourself a favour and hire a real editor for your next one, please :)
         
@matei - ironically, the first video I didn't edit myself. Yeah, I totally want to hire a real editor as I know it would improve my work hugely. It's the "hire" and its presupposition of money that's the issue.
         
Video sux. Heard this song when it first came out and really dug it. Thought that it was going to hopefully have a great video behind it. Too bad.
