Britney Spears - Radar (Dir: Dave Meyers)

Sorry for the crappy quality. It's the best I could find. Also, this has to be one of Dave Meyer's weakest videos. The editing is beyond horrendous (fade down/up, pause, fade down/up, pause, repeat ad infinitum), and the direction is virtually nonexistent.
Most offensive, though, is the pure unfiltered *blah* that makes up every nanosecond of this purported pop promo.
Small consolation that it is, it's still worth noting that the cinematography is on point.

I didn't really hate this all that much, actually kind of enjoyed it, also is this an official release yet? Id hold judgment until there's an official release, we all know how the editorial process goes.30f, July 3, 2009 1:34:50 AM CEST
I am a Meyers fan, so I kind of want to like pretty much anything he does. That said, this is pretty slow in (many) parts. To me, this video has all the hallmarks of not getting enough footage on the day of the shoot and then using editorial 'tricks' to hide that fact. Britney has recently been the kind of artist that shows up hours and hours late and is flaky/unfocused once there. I imagine those things are connected.

I have heard the opposite as of late, i think the one i was on (piece of me) was the last "showing up late" occurrencetrue_fiction, July 3, 2009 2:57:18 AM CEST
Its funny how this song is almost 2 years old, and the video finally comes out.spreech, July 3, 2009 11:36:00 AM CEST
Britney Spears is very beautiful in this video.robodrug, July 3, 2009 11:58:25 AM CEST
According to Rollingstone "The plot is eerily similar too, with the Dave Meyers-directed video essentially copycatting Madonna’s “Take A Bow” video. Instead of falling in love with a matador like the Material Girl, Spears has her eye on a polo player." etc("Take A Bow" Director, Michael Haussman)
