Wardrobe looks styled, properly fitted and looks to have been constantly monitored on set, what's bad or neglected in it?

The make-up team's done their work perfect. Skin has a glow and sheen, means the Glycerine spray has been consistently reapplied, throughout the shoot no cheap cream or baby oil fixes

'The making of' clip apparently also shows a full professional camera department. That's a Red camera they are using on the shoots (I've no idea but is it still the case only one viewing output can be enabled at a time? I'm a 'still camera-man' so am behind on the technical side of digital cinema cameras)

U can see the '1st AC' pulling focus in scenes, coz tho' its digital the depth of field is still very narrow n' I'm sure the RAW data still has to be rendered post process probably as Quick Time and instructing the camera operators. There's a couple of Juicers and a Best Boy also shown in the clip, so there must be a Gaffer ie: a Lighting crew

So in other words there is a full experienced and effective professional film crew on set

The standard of music, never mind the video is way beyond the normal V-Pop cheesy nonsense and points to expectations and aspiration on the rise in Vietnam's home music market

So not been able to agree with the 'cheap' spur of your comment I have to ask what's 'nasty' about the video. Do you mean it was disgustingly dirty or maybe physically repellent' perhaps it was morally offensive, like indecent to you ?

Maybe it was a poor turn of phrase, but compared with the quality j-pop vids this video you've posted, this does seem cheap and lazy; we've one minimalist lighting set-up that just changes colour and that's derivative of every r+b video we've ever seen and that's it. I guess what I shoulda put was 'boring and lazy'. :)
         
It's not JPop for Christ fuckin' sake The clue is in the J = Japanese. Non-Japanese Asian music from the rest of Asia has the prefix first letter of the country of origin such as KPOP or CPOP . K = Korean, C = Chinese VPOP is so young that it don't even have a Wiki

The clips you were so fulsome in your praise of, the other week were actually K-Pop

To dismiss, disregard or fail to differentiate between the music genres, denotes a sloppy lazy Anglo-centric pop chauvinistic analysis of what actually constitutes Asian music It's similar to some white liberal paternalistic nob confusing Calypso Soca and Zouk as Reggae, yes they are all West Indian but all originated (despite taking elements from each other and Western Music genres) on different Islands and I'll throw in Reggaeton for good measure (I'm sure u can google the wiki on the genre for them with out my efforts)
