The music video world is a tough old cookie, where filmmakers hustle hard to earn a crust. For
many directors and producers, getting signed to an established production or management company
signifies the end of the hard hustle and the start of a bankable career in music video and
commercials.
To investigate getting signed, aka repped, Radar invited producers from the best production
companies, management, a top-class commissioner and a director to be grilled in front of a live
audience of filmmakers. In 30 minutes, we cover the benefits of being signed, how to get signed,
how commissioners work, who production companies want to sign and once you’re signed, how to

i can only applaud caroline for all she's done for unsigned directors (thanks to her radar festival i got in touch with several prod houses myself), but the budgets radar directors have to work with are very very low, u cant make a decent video on that money
