Detachments - Holiday Romance
Detachments release brilliant new single "Holiday Romance" on 13th September, complete with remixes from Andy Blake and Cosmo. This will serve as a taster for their debut self-titled album (released 20th September), which is a dark, brooding maelstrom full of existentialist undercurrents and icy electronic undertones.
Director Steve Agnew describes the video as "What French New Wave cinema visionary Jean-Luc Godard would have made if he was in his 20s, on the dole, by the sea, in England '86.''
