I know it's a repost (of sorts...) but I would be interested to see if people prefer this version over the previous one. I know there were some criticisms about the editing.

Good god, ya'll.

That was intense.

         

the only differences are (1) an extra cut or two of jay-z in medium (2) the water dissolving face and (3) the pointe section is no longer intercut with the half-orange/half-grey colored solo dance section. that's it. play the videos side by side on dual monitors...same diff... although, strangely enough, the new version does feel a lot better...

         

Yeah this one does play a little better, just because the editing is toned down a little bit. I'm still not crazy about that orange gradient though, personally I would prefer to see the similar footage of her dancing in the grey rain instead. Also I don't normally go for this sort of thing, but those water effect wipes work well.

The editor just cuts between MCU to WS and back again throughout the whole thing. Nice shot selection you have there.
