to me, it just feels very very flat. stuff like this makes me so averse to green screen videos. They should have used an angle looking down and gotten some A-list compositors. This looks like the easiest composite job in the world.

i like it. The song is shit but the video is actually pretty cool

         

ace norton is one of the few top of the line directors whose "creativity" i often question. this video is bizarre and executed poorly

i made it to the end without getting overly distracted so that's got to count for something.

         

i was hoping the stack of mandys would make up a huge mandy that would go on a rampage around the city eating people..but alas, no.

         

boring, annoying, and it's surprisingly frustrating when you never get a chance to see the singer do any singing; the permanent wide really lets the video down. but i guess that's the catch with these trick based videos - you end up hamstrung by the very thing that was meant to make the project special...ah, the irony.

Looks like Ace submitted the pre-viz by mistake, and the music company used it! For some reason the total lack of physics displayed by Mandy, holding up her multiple offspring on fingertip, really bothers me...
