this is a short animation film.
I think it's brilliant.
launch www.partizan.com,

C'mon AI, this is just as worthy of being posted as any promo is. Especially when it lives in the world of partizan. It's great, a lot a lot of class. I just feel like it could've been a little more than just sock puppets and death.

" I just feel like it could've been a little more than just sock puppets and death"What do you mean by that?

Wow, that was really amazing. I hadn't seen that. If anybody comes across something of that caliber then please for the love of God post it. (not that many new vids have been posted lately anyways)That was such a stunningly creepy and surreal short, they really took me into another world...I do wish there was a little more backstory and meaning to it. But honestly that was really really good...and I suppose it's amusing to come up with my own take on it's meaning. It kind of had a Pinnochio feel to it but with no Pinnochio in it, which is good because that little wooden doll is annoying. Pinnochio is played. Sock puppets are the new Pinnochio. Yeah.

that was awesome! thanks for posting it.mate, December 18, 2004 9:34:44 AM CET
I think the meaning is quite clean. The puppet player dies, so the puppets play him. The roles changed.jonesnco, December 19, 2004 7:49:21 AM CET
I think this link will directly link it (works in Firefox at least): media.giraffe.tvai, December 19, 2004 3:43:06 PM CET
How did u guess the link? they took it out tough.jonesnco, December 20, 2004 12:11:29 AM CET
Looks like they took down the main link posted here, as well...but the main partizan.com site is still up.I wonder if someone downloaded it. I googled the filename and came up with nothing. :(

Look it's really easy. Once u loaded the file in the player, if you're on os x look for a hidden file called something like QTpluginTemp copy to the desktop rename with .movjuicysauce, December 20, 2004 3:57:56 PM CET

it's really easy to download locked files if you are on a mac, unfortunately it doesn't work on the partizan site because they are streaming. (i haven't found a great video stream saving program but the quality of streams is usually unforgiveable anyways) >to save locked files download sitesucker(http://www.sitesucker.us/)
>then go to activity window, and look for the file, it's easiest to find if it's still loading up
>then copy the address and paste it into sitesucker, and hit download

FYI, the partizan site does not stream, it uses progressive download. I find it amazing that some of you do not respect copyrights and willing to do anything to get your hands on a video. Please respect copyrighted material.captainmarc22, December 22, 2004 6:48:54 PM CET
tech are you serious?1. if it's online then it is available for everyone to watch. Using alternate URLs is no different than using a different browser setting or a search engine.
2. Partizan only has it embedded because they want credit (it's not like they have ads on their page) - and credit is given here.
3. copyright violations would involve downloading the video and somehow profitting from it or taking credit.
4. Who the fuck goes online and says "Please respect copyrighted material"? c'mon man.
