This is the greatest thing I have ever witnessed with my own two eyes. Thank you for posting.captainmarc22, April 6, 2005 12:32:41 AM CEST
someone needs to make a hall of fame for stuff like this. I'd put it next to Mazed and Amazed.binkystick, April 6, 2005 1:00:27 AM CEST
I don't know if anyone noticed, but this was directed by Rob Bowman, the man responsible for Elektra and Reign of Fire. He also directed a number of Star Trek: TNG episodes, which this guy singing was the head stunt coordinator for, so I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm still thoroughly confused, though!

It's always better when it's serious.jdub, April 6, 2005 1:58:42 AM CEST
I keep thinking "Happy Gilmore" with the cloud shots. The guy sort of looks like the guy from "The Room". My other favorite "serious" piece. This dude made and starred in his own movie last year. People laughed at so he re-labeled it as a black comedy. In particular I like the line "you're tearing me apart Lisa"!

reminds me of something Michael Bay would direct if he had a tight budget. where's all the helicopter shots? :(amac, April 6, 2005 11:11:08 AM CEST
At first I thought it was a parody or joke, but this is seriously a song and music video?I actually felt a little uncomfortable watching something so bad.

jdub, "The Room" website / trailer / phenomenon blew me away. I've been forwarding it on to everyone. Can't wait til it comes to NYC.hijed, April 6, 2005 11:58:00 PM CEST
It's second only to the Son Inocentes video posted a few weeks back.jdub, April 7, 2005 12:17:58 AM CEST
Nice to hear you enjoy it Cmarc22. It was with a strange mix of sadness and glee that I discovered it. The guy had billboards all over Hollywood with his big mug on them for a while. Painful.

American's doing irony?delspence, April 8, 2005 8:10:08 AM CEST
Oh my god...that is just amazingly atrocious in every way...very funny though. I kept waiting for the punchline right up to the end...but he meant it...I'm just trying to imagine people swaying to and fro to it getting a tear welling up in their eye. Only in Americaaaaaaaa-haaaaaaaaaa....wonder if he got the scar from someone belting him in the mouth to shut the f**k up?delspence, April 8, 2005 8:19:33 AM CEST
Iraaaaaaaaaaaaaaqqqq....we would stand as one, but we'll get blown uuuuppp.....Afghanistaaaaaaaaaann...well we would too...if we had some legs....delspence, April 8, 2005 8:44:27 AM CEST
Here here my friend. Thank god there's someone with some sense in your country..even if there was some relation between Iraq & S11, I don't see how 5,000 people equates to 100,000 plus Iraqis...may people with sense, dignity & compassion prevail in the US.delspence, April 8, 2005 8:45:07 AM CEST
