pretty cool song; video is all over the place and I wouldn't think it would work on paper, but here it's totally slick. Maybe it's all about the random sound effects in the song. Anyone know who the director is?
         
THEY USUALLY DIRECT THEIR OWN VIDEOS I BELIEVE.
         
I like it, despite of myself. It reminds me of the culmination of every music video from 1982, the ones that followed the school of thought of "let's hire a kid from an art school to make a video that doesn't make any sense so we seem hip and real creative like." Still, somehow it makes it through. The quick editing helps -- you don't have time to think, "Well that's a little silly."

I'd like to be on the set for something like this. Do you think it'd be completely serious and somber, or with everyone asking, "What the hell? Can you believe we're this weird?"

last i heard FS does all their videos, like the poster a few posts up mentioned. yes the site is just a blog. and yes i married a supermodel. at least i think so.

Oddly enough, this is the only video on the Fischerspooner website that doesn't say who the directer is. Most likely it's Jon Kane, who did their last 2 videos. This video is too good for them to have done, but I could be wrong.

This would explain a lot, being that Jon Kane partly founded the "artsy" MTV 80s videos and was assigned various commercials to duplicate those MTV videos.

i'm gonna get in trouble but here goes... i think it's trying to be something it's not. trying to be uber hipster and ironic, but that concept has been done before, and better.
