The Chalets: Feel The Machine

Director D.A.D.D.Y.'s video for The Chalet's "Feel The Machine" is a self-referential Adobefest. (I couldn't extract an actual still from the video, so the above photo is just a random one of the band.)

It's great! I'm curious as to why the tracking marks are so obviously still on the walls, but otherwise I thought it was fantastic.captainmarc22, 16. June 2005, 18:24
yeah that was awesome - jacob by your description I was assuming a generic After Effects video, and this is hardly the case. The photoshop theme left me wanting more, whereas everything after was a comparatively underwhelming. (are the clouds screensavers?)
This kind of reminded me of the DJ Format video in the broadest way possible, taking an existing system and playing around with the themes.
It would have also been neat if the background was one of those old school mac background patterns.

I agree with CaptainMarc --the best parts are those that stick most closely to the photoshop theme. Where it strays--with the clouds, or with the videogame sequence--my attention starts to stray, too.But all in all, I thought it was a very good video.

I'm sick of these types of video. Not creative one bit. This kind of idea has been reused so many times... next...
