Weird, this must be the first version. I've seen the so-called 'third version', which has lo-fi computer animation and was aired on MTV's AMP a bit. It was a bit more robotic than this - they really feel like people here, which disturbs me. ;) (Hope they put out a DVD collection sometime.)

P.S. if you find The Robots on their website, you'll see some of the animation and a black-and-red silhouette of the actual robots from the 3rd version..
         
..for "The Model", they use that footage in their live shows still. The concert footage is from the same concert used in their "Pocket Calculator" vid, and I'm guessing in the live version of "The Robots" mvdbase notes..

Don't ask me why, I just like to figure these things out..
         
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is a good sign ......... - their website is very strange, it implicates their dilemma that they once sounded like the future and now this future has passed - so they float inbetween times.
