Slowreader - On That Day - Dir. Vincent Perini
Here's a favorite I thought I'd originally found on here.
A very quiet, wonderful band.
if you like this you should check out their first band called the impossibles. an austin, tx legend.
it's great... how directed it? was it v.perini?
what the fuck?!?! where's the pool?
two things. okay, first of all i only clicked on this video to see what those guys in the pool were doing. but the shot doesn't in exist in the video. and the video totally sucks. that brings us to my second point.
second, this video sucks. nice re-framing styles. and nice NOTHING HAPPENING. plus i was wanting to see that fucking pool!
in conclusion, where's the damn pool, jackasses?!?
hey dude. this is the first time ive ever written on one of these websites. anyway i directed the video, and it rules. and i took the cover photo, which also rules. . . sorry there was no pool in the video. . . what are re-framing styles? btw tons of stuff happens, its just real subtle and bad-ass and pretty. give it another chance, hope it grows on you, it rules
I didn't bother watching this video until I saw the last post. You know what? It does rule. I'm not kidding. I watched it twice. I saw new things each time. Nice.
video is meh - but yeah the photo is more compelling than the video.
what are the little details that I'm missing?
On a positive note - I think the dude's beard is nicely maintained. Good work.
Did you really direct this video, director? I liked it a lot. I think if I was directing videos I would do something like this. How did the people in the backround know what to do? It looked like they were watching something.
yeah i directed it. and edited and choreographed and shot and location scouted and styled and set designed it. its good, im very proud of it. glad that some of you liked it. it cost $300 to make and was shot in my friends painting studio.
Yo, director of this video, shoot me an email if you read this. I've got some questions for you. You can get my email by clicking on my username.
well done i liked it.
i also liked it alot...although i think it could have been so much better. the begining is almost exciting with the dancers in the background...there should have been more of that...something to compensate for the repetitiveness of the song...but, i like the song too...song could have been a lot better too....come on people we need that extra umph!!! to make things great.
I really like slowreader. i must say, that cd has been in my walkman for months on end. i followed rory and gabe through all their bands, impossibles, pop unknown, imbroco, thestereo, etc... but i must say, slowreader i think complimented them the best. i think the video was a great compliment to their style, congratulations on a job well done
