A good story in the Chicago Tribune yesterday that mentions the song: www.chicagotribune.com
in case the server gets hammered (slashdot and all), here's a yousendit of the video
interesting - nice post progosk
the funniest part is that they couldn't find a real white guy to be in their video.
more info on the guy and track
Comic actor Nkem Owoh (of Osuofia In London fame) just released a four track CD he likes to refer to as his debut album. The album released under the Kas-vid music label includes the track ‘I go chop your dollar’ and ‘love me till I die’, tracks already made popular in his films ‘The Master’ and ‘American Visa’ respectively.
Though these are great tracks, they were played so many times in the films we could have recorded them straight off the box (but we didn’t). The ‘four track album’ is moving quick units mostly in Lagos where it is being pushed by direct marketing; it is currently being sold straight out of public buses.
Owoh would be the second 'banned' actor this year to release an album, the first being Genevieve Nnaji, still look out for Omotola among others.
better pidgin and translation here.
hilariously, nkem owoh was just arrested in amsterdam. for 419 scamming.
You got to thank the guy. He was comical enough to expose the scam in his own country
