Finally! I've been waiting for this to appear online. I'm liking Ace Norton's work more and more. This is totally fun.

that was nicely done and fun enough but too similar for me to the Supergrass "Kiss of Life" video - which itself was a takeoff of (standard) people stop motion short films.

Like, the toast and instruments dropping was cool but maybe something besides jumping would have made this a "wow!" video.

Now that he's signed to Partizan, maybe more of his work is up on their server. His reel is killer. What I'm jealous of most in Ace's work is his ability to make something kinetic and interesting and visually inventive even when it's obvious he has no budget or enormous production resources... A talent and ability I'd say very few people have. Wait'll you see what he's working on next...

i saw the exact same concept done before like 2 years ago for an mtv latin america promo. the video is cool but nothing new.

This is indeed a standard stop motion technique, but one that was particularly well used in Jan ("Dobermann") Kounen's hilarious short "GISELE KEROZENE."
