the December 19 re-release of the record/video was chosen to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the tragic death of Kirsty MacColl. The band is splitting royalties to charities for the homeless and to the Justice For Kirsty Campaign

as far as contemporary christmas songs go, the walkmen stole that crown last year.

this is still top notch, though.
