funki. no, better: it's great. down to the titles - and even the file names. love it.
damn! this is irritating. i'm totally confused. i need a cup of tea.
Hi! I did this movie, and I'm really glad to find it here. So here's a few words about it... First it's an initiative, with my friends at Kidam we wanted to do a video for Jeff's new album, even though there was no chance the record label would pay for it. It had to be the minimal cost, and it ended up being 20 euros for a few tapes and sandwiches for the crew... If I chose this song it was because it was going well with a technique I liked, and that i had never had the opportunity to use before. Something every editor does when he doesn't really know what to do with a project: moving the cursor randomly at different speeds on the timeline the rushes are put on. You can see then multiple still shots of your project. This time I recorded the jam on a tape and used it for the parts with Jeff. I didn't use that too much in the end, most of the scenes are shot with strobe lights at different shutter speeds. Most of it was not scripted, but we had that warehouse where we could film, and there was bunch of stuff lying there, and we found most of the ideas as we found stuff lying around the place. The kids are my brother Adam and 2 of his friends.
Check Jeff's new album, it's as great as the two others.
There is no films to download on kidam.net, and the site hasn't been updated for 2 years, but should be next month. Waiting for that, I put the latest movies I've made on this page : www.myspace.com/kidam
Thanx to Benroll for putting the movie on Antville.
Eyh Spreech! I was visiting your website and found out you kinda liked Camille. I love her too, and filmed a show of hers. So after your cup of tea, if you like check www.myspace.com/kidam, there's a video of 'Pale Septembre'I put there. I guess it won't confuse you as much as Anxiety. There's gonna be more of her on the kidam site next month. best, Jey
ah - random editing. really fits the track. nice one, jey.
