It always pleasantly amazes me to find something so simple that's so moving. Of course the street is an intrinsically interesting place, but I think the real strength of this is its fit with the music and lyrics. The little payoff at the end provides a perfectly understated full stop.Great!

momentarily staving off concerns that antville's going all teutonic this year (what was last year's flavour? danish?), let me join in the waxing: this is a lovely little gesamtkunstwerk.progosk, 12. January 2006, 16:40
jeanz, where's the de:bug best of 05 list/vote? can't seem to find it on their site.handy_instrumental, 12. January 2006, 20:39
god, this video sucks. The landscapers should have been on the best of year list. Where's the artistry? This was a technical exercise for the dolly grip. Come on guys!

I agree, a 3 minute tracking shot in the hope that it might do you proud, but it just short changes you. Dear me. What a shame. "Hot wire your imagination"....is much more appropriate.hassinator, 13. January 2006, 17:10
This is an excellent video I'm guessing their was no money to spend so they had to rely on taste, judgement and an innate sense of cool.
Nice action from the Germans who've been leading the way musically for at least the last two years.

I love the one he did for Tocotronic's Schatten werfen keine Schatten. It's on his site: www.timoschi.de, here (save as).progosk, 15. January 2006, 01:12

very cool. The piece is pushing the boundries of what a music video can be, and its refreshing to see something without the little gimmick. The music does rock.
