Wondering what lead to the kids-casting - was Andre 3000 not available?

Not sure I got the storyline but using kids was an excellent choice to contrast the lyrics; which take on a new light in this context - not many videos try this and few pull it off.

Imagine this song w/ some lame-ass Hype Williams performance video - and then realize how much better this is.

Creativity in a rap video: you are after my heart. Still it didn't entirely sell me - photography didn't feel good with the song, just styled. Story was too soft..

great video! I found another version on youtube where the boy doesn't lip sync. any idea why there are two versions? I like this one much better.
