The floating stone head is straight out of the 1974 Sean Connery movie Zardoz.
         
I gotta say the video fits perfectly with the song....dead on perfect.

I'm also hugely impressed with the technical level. In these days when even Kayne West has to front his own money for a music video (according to EW) how in the hell did this band afford this?

I've seen quite a few videos that have been really well done for a lot less than 31k. Personally I think the technical skills are great, really well done, but the floating head just reminds me too much of the dungeon + dragons game Warhammer.
         
I think more videos need giant heads. How the fuck did you think of this? I'm a big fan of videos that don't explain themselves but just carry themselves on a kind of visceral logic. Shit looks super hot too. Just imagine what you could do with 32k.
