Death Cab for Cutie - Soul Meets Body - Cat Solen
man, what is up with the damn streaming quicktimeness of directions. i guess you don't want us to download the files, but the network i'm on isn't quick enough to support streaming qts. thanks for that.
Anybody find Ace Norton's Death Cab "Crooked Teeth" vid yet? (Story + MTV vid here, re: Sledgehammer)
looks really cool - I loved the singing deer from the trailer - but the streaming makes me cry.
This was great. Does anybody know how it was made? It seems that it was a collective thing where a lot of people were told what to shoot and they each submitted their own version of a shot list that was given to them...but I wonder what the actual parementers were. Anyone?
Excellent video. Loved the connections made between each shot, and the editing; the continuity of motion was near perfect.
I'm so happy you are doing this project, Aaron, and props to Atlantic Records for financing this. If this is (part of) the future of music video, count me chuffed to bits.
Since I want to track this genre (and buy all these!), at this very moment I'm coming up with a list of all video/DVD albums over at Videoville. I know I'll miss some, if someone wants to help!
I'm so so glad to hear that, man. (Trailer here)
otaku, can you elaborate on what the process was to make it? i mean, i have my assumptions but since you headed this project up i thought you might have a unique perspective to share on this. seeing that this was all shot on the same day across north america makes me realize there were many different filmmakers inovled, but i wonder how they were chosen, what they were told to shoot, etc... thanks.
Aaron, Rob Schrabs Crooked Teeth video is so bad ass!!!
i guess this one might grow on me.
