disaster? what are you fuckin high? not gondry's best, but disaster? like how kanye looked at camera for the devil line. even though this video has been out, this was my first time seeing the whole thing....mr.blizzard, March 15, 2006 4:42:50 PM CET
Not great. Didn't seem to have the same level of pre-planning that alot of Gondry's stuff has. Messy but cool.sdelahoyde, March 15, 2006 4:56:55 PM CET
When did Gondry become an "indie director"?progosk, March 15, 2006 5:43:53 PM CET

This is def not a disaster. But...Have any of you ever seen Mike Jittlov's the wizard of speed and time? Gondry should watch that film and remind himself as to the limits of live action stop motion.
Anyway if this is ripping off anything it's Michael Jackson at his child loving corniest. Especially with that creep from Maroon 5 doing his best impersonation of Jackson impersonating Stevie Wonder.
For more on Gondry and blackness check out Dave Chapelle's Block Party. It's also, far from a disaster.

Oh come on - by Gondry standards this is wretched. Why revisit time lapse if there is nothing new to say?
Ask Kanye what he thinks...

As for that Jittlov thing (again), Michel hadn't seen that before this vid, fwiw.
