The Flaming Lips - Bohemian Rhapsody (dir. George Salisbury & Wayne Coyne)
The Flaming Lips, sushi, boobs and a budget of $1.50.

weird....I wonder. If you were a no-name director, and the Flaming Lips called you up, and said "come over, we're doing Bohemian Rhapsody, feel free to film it." - how quickly could you put something together? Cause if you nailed it, you've got a Flaming Lips video.
Well looks like he didn't nail it but maybe he wasn't aiming so high. The girl was hot but the "story" was bad even on an ironic level.
Was really impressed with their version - even sounds like it could be a hit.

Yeah I'm not sure who directed it, on youtube it has this caption "Here's a quick video Wayne and I shot on a budget of a $1.50! -George"
I'm not really sure who George is. Anyways, they made this version of Bohemian Rhapsody for a recent Queen tribute cd. Always a fun song.

George Salisbury, prolly?I wonder if this is Internet-only? I doubt it'll be serviced to the networks. It says it's only had 3,000 views, I wonder if this has been posted elsewhere? I'm curious to find out when these things will get more, er, households than MTV does..

This is the first time I ever been disappointed we a naked sunbather pops up on the screen. I'd just watch the band.-j
