Yeah, it definitely has something to it. If anything, it's just refreshing to see something simple, not trying to push some weighty concept around.

It's like an updated, truncated, version of The Swimmer, an old obscure 60's movie starring Burt Lancaster, about a guy who decides he's going to cut through people's back yards and swim through their pools, all the way home. (Spoiler: he's delusional, lost his money, his wife, and his home a long time ago.) Same simple framework which keeps you interested in what's coming next.
