Justine Electra "Fancy Robots" (DIR: Minivegas)
intriguing track (reminded me of masha qrella), styling, lights&camera. somewhat hypnotising with so little happening - shame about the dumb lyrics. any other info?
nice video. goes well with the song. i love the robot! i want one! there are some nice stills on www.minivegas.co.uk
progosk: her first album, just released, is awesome, it is called "soft rock" and has also better lyrics. she is actually a friend of masha qrella, as far as I know, she laid techno records in berlin and came back to her hippie roots for her first album. I'm listening to her the whole day. her website (some streams & mp3 on it): www.justineelectra.org
thank you for defending me in front of progosk, spreech. you are right, me and masha are good friends and did some music for my album in her studio with norman from nm farner. and i'm glad you can listen to it the whole day thru - that was what i was hoping for when i put the album together - it took ages to get the song order... originally the album started with song # 2 and ran right thru to defiant and proud, but we put fancy robots on at the start as a bonus track... fyi err... :-) have a nice day!
aww, i'm sorry, justine. maybe i'm too much of a stickler - everything else was so cool about this. i'll go and listen to the rest of it right now.
Progosk gets the gas face!
The world keeps getting smaller, doesn't it? (er, for those of us with electricity + tech)
erm... still not loving "fancy" (= imagine? or = upmarket?) and "shoes", but the other 3 tracks available on the site are cool.
peace-pipe?
oh, and: please let masha know that "everything shows" is an amazing track - where's the video?!
I'm pretty amazed to find Justines comment as late - oh dear! Greetings from a fan! (prowd to be the poster, poster from posting, not the poster on the wall ...)
