coady: i find some of your esthetics a bit hard to follow/digest (the writing, the cartoon-y elements) - they often feel unnecessarily unsubtle, especially in the context of something fairly abstract, like your matching of music and architecture. you chose your old videos well, and there's a good feel for the edit most of the time (tho the loops were avoidable). overall i'd say: trust the power of the old material more, and just concentrate on the contrasting/complementing effect of the contemporary score you set it to. your vague angels was subtler, and better for it.

(oh, and: if you're going to insist on using gulliver, at least de-interlace the damn thing!)

btw: I consider Gulliver a piece of architecture in this piece, though I will deinterlace it.
