What a waste of talent, I'm dissapointed of her...
         
i don't know what i expected, but not this.
         
streaming qt has got to be one of the most infuriating formats out there. on a mac, this:
-shows in firefox&safari but b0rks up several times midway through (and i've got a fast line)
- doesn't show at all in qtpro 7
- doesn't stream (failed response code in vlc).
and don't even try to capture the rtsp stream itself...

this looked like the first reg spektor tune to not annoy me like hell (and an oddly offhand video from AIS, to boot) but thanks to goddamned format paranoia, i'll continue not liking her stuff.

and... i love it! captures the kind of spontaneous, contagious charm that i think she may have been trying for all the time, but that nobody's managed to channel.
extra points for not having her look to camera even once while playing the (obligatory) piano.
         
I know this was posted a long time ago and most certainly nobody will read this, but I just have to say I love this video more than...more than veggie corn dogs, and I really love veggie corn dogs.
         
i'm with ya, winch. it's survived many a repeat, when all of her other vids have long since faded. chapeau to adam's levity!
