Hi there... I'm Chris Larkee, the guy who made the video. If you'd like a higher quality version to download, check these links:www.knellotron.com

*spectacular* encoding, chris. (cool planar shit, too.) what'd you use?masayuki, July 14, 2006 8:38:24 PM CEST
Thanks knellotron! (^-^)vkevathens, July 14, 2006 9:26:07 PM CEST
Neat vid, Chris! I agree, that encoding is fabulous. 75MB isn't horrific for such quality, though what about bandwidth?6ixty, July 16, 2006 11:09:43 AM CEST
makes me think of h5's 'electronic performers' clip for air. but still nice...what role did arthur c. clarke have to do in it's making by the way?knellotron, July 17, 2006 2:45:26 AM CEST
hey, I'm back. thanks again for the comments. Right now I'm in the middle of redesigning my website, and i plan on having a lot more detailed info about the film. I'm also making a short documentary about the process of making of this film, and I much more elaborate follow-up.6ixty: I thanked Arthur c. Clarke because the initial insiration for the film was the "fire and ice" chapter from his novel "2010," where a crashed spaceship is destroyed by plantlike organisms on jupiter's moon of europa.
progosk: this film was made in Blender, and edited in Cinelerra. I'm a bit of a linux nut.
