Jessica Simpson "A Pubic Affair" directed by BRETT RATNER
featuring Andy Dick, Eva Longoria and Christina Applegate.
Wow. It actually might have been half good without those annoying "dream sequences". Other than that the song is bubblegum yuck and the video is annoying.
marc... those pics... you're my hero.
Sigh... there is a much better rollerskating video out there...you just wait.
oh yeah that Rapture video?? Total ripoff of Brett Ratner.
Don't forget Faith Evans or Darren Doane's Everytime I Die video.
i challenge ratner to a skate off.
And that, my friends, is why X-Men 3 sucked a mutant's third ass.
That's what you get when a rich, smarmy frat boy hops behind the lens. You get Ratnerfied.
The opening scene is such a great time capsule of forgettable people from 2005-2006.
even on your basic make-a-bland pop video level, this video is craptastic. it takes a new level of stupidity to mess up a generic rollerskating video with jessica simpson. who's giving ratner work?
There was another rolling skating video, mid-90's, kind of an popular "alternative" / grunge band, if I remember. Skating through a suburban neighborhood. Who was that?
Tom Vek "nothing but green lights" directed by Adam Bartley is my favorite rollerskate video!
I had the privelege of meeting Ratner 8 years ago on my first day as receptionist at new line cinema, the opening day of Rush Hour 1. At the time I was hoping his directing career would last as long as my receptionist career (one month). If only he would follow the same page as Rush Hour star Chris Tucker, and only do Rush Hour movies.
i thought andy dick was gay?
i think he's a self declared trisexual.
Tri? That's a new one. Does he like cats or something? He's got 3 kids even, but heck, there's a designer on Trading Spaces that's completely femme but totally married, and quite happy looking. You just never know sometimes.
I think I'll always remember Andy Dick for being on Kahn's Sisqo Making the Video, in the edit room, calling for "More ass!"
From YouTube "This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner sony bmg because its content was used without permission" Typical, first sign of organised group consensus critique and they heavy in and get it removed. I hate Sony BMG they are the worst of the worst, here in Australia they act like monopolistic cunts and amorphasis the music industry into one big bland puddle of blah. Brett Fucking Ratner with his cheesy fake Hollywood smile, what do I care anyway.
