Glendale, CA - After sweeping social networking sites YouTube and MySpace with the music video for the debut single from her new album Shoes, viral video sensation Kelly today announced the launch of her ringtones on mobile entertainment portal Medialicious.TV
“These tones rule”, explained the Tarzana, California teenager who until recently had been grounded by her parents for nearly 3 months. “You better buy my ringtones, betch.”
“Like any out of control teenager, Kelly has officially taken over our site and we love it! She wants things done her way and she won’t stand for anything less” said Carolyn Coal, Interactive Creative Director at Medialicious.TV. “We’re thrilled to offer her ringtones and full song downloads.”
Kelly’s meteoric rise to fame represents the latest success story in the user generated content phenomenon on the Internet. A recent article in Entertainment Weekly listing Kelly as a Viral VIP garnered hundreds of thousands of downloads online and a celebrity following that included SNL’s Andy Samberg, co-star of the 2005 web sensation Lazy Sunday.
