Beck - Nausea (Director: ?)
Here's Beck "new music video" for his latest song, Nausea, featuring footage from a skateboarding video. It shows a bunch of skateboarders cruising through the streets of LA and doing tricks. Let's hope the RIAA doesn't delete this video, just like all the other new music videos.

From the end credits, looks like the Malloy Brothers had a hand in it. It has some trademark Malloy rack focus in it which is always nice. It also has Ray Barbie in it. Represent.
The Malloys have sure made a name for themselves in one way or another. They have some sort of good perspective on them, something about keeping their eye on the prize.
I like this video. Its just skateboarding. Thats all. Like a skating video. Thats it. I like it.

One great thing the Malloys have always had going for them is choosing really great music. All the older really great (Poor Specimen) Surf movies were all punk rocked before The Malloys (Thicker Than Water, Shelter etc...). Nothing wrong with that at all, but these guys always pick such a wide array of great music to watch footage by.
And they deserve the foresight and good taste credit for first use of "New Slang" in a film.
