I love it too. I agree, vidbot- it's charmingly simple. It reminds me of those early pink floyd promos. I can't believe such a well worn effect ie backwards film, is so captivating in this. The beautiful Highland scenery helps of course but the whole thing is just cheaptastically good.

I'm glad people like this. I think it's a really great video as well. I'm surprised it's getting this much love: make sure you guys see it on TV sometime, if you haven't. These formats hide the fact that this was shot on video, which really makes this come to life, in a very unexpected way. It skirts the line between DIY and 'serious' videomaking brilliantly. I do love it.

the very one - i think robot man is a very special 'band' video in that they did it themselves; its full of personality and its also very good

that said i think happy song is a poor follow up and seems a wee bit chaotic in terms of too many ideas/too much improv on the day

they also surely don't want to be seen as some sort of latter day monkeys but i have faith they will be back to form as all the beta band videos were at worst interesting and at best totally captivating

you really don't need a lot of money when you've got talent and a good idea...
